I think he's liking this food thing

Life outside of rice cereal has had a good start. I just hope he keeps it up. Next week...peas?

Sisters

My sister's Ann & Amber (and Amber's husband Michael) were here last week from Wyoming. I love spending time with my sisters. We swam, made lots of good food, played games, shopped, and just had fun being together with all our family. Here we are early in the morning the day they left to go back home.

Look Who's Crawling

Grant had his 6 month checkup today. The doctor was going over the things that a typical 6 month baby should be doing and Grant was doing them all. But the Doc. was surprised when we told him that Grant is crawling. He said, "On all fours?".
Yup. He's a super baby!

Today

Today Grant and I went to have my BFF, Shari, take his 6 month pictures. 6 MONTHS!!!!! He was a sport most of the time, and Shari did a great job. Then we took lunch to Keith. Keith showed off our little man to all of his co-workers. Now Grant is sleeping like a champ.

Thank you again Craigslist

Before I was even pregnant I had my eye on this high chair. I didn't think the price would fly with Keith so I tried to put it out of my mind...but I couldn't. It's just so beautiful and it's sleek design is sooooooooo easy to wipe clean. So I would check Craigslist now and then and the only other one I'd seen on there was hot pink, until this gem showed up one day last week. Just in time too, since Grant is now in need of a sweet chair like this. I got it for a great price and it's practically new. I also picked up this never-been-used glider on Craigslist before Grant was born. The zipper was broken and the people never had time to fix it, so they never used it. Come to find out, it wasn't as broken as they thought and my mom and I fixed it in a jiffy. We also got our swing and a Baby Bjorn with a fancy cover from the same people. We had to look for a while of course, and sort through the listings of stuff that's on its last leg, but it was worth it!
I also put up this picture from last night so you could see a handsome daddy with a burp cloth on his shoulder reading to his baby boy. It was so funny, Grant would not take his eyes off of Keith the whole time he was reading.
