Glad to be digital

We would go through so much film with this little guy if we didn't have digital.
Now it's just hard to decide which pictures to save and which to delete.

Grant and his Dad

Grant absolutely loves his dad. Whenever Keith walks in Grant just lights up. He will actually sit and read books with Keith, which he can only stand so much of with me.
Maybe it's that I'm with him all day. Keith is also the best at getting Grant to
laugh his head off.And of course Keith is already teaching Grant the important things in life....

Owls

After being inspired by my friend, Rita, who made beautiful owl pictures for her daughters room,
I knew that was exactly what Grant needed in his room. I thought it was so clever of her to have
a day night and a night time owl. So here's the owls that I made.
They hang on the wall on either side of the crib.

Bread

There's something about baking bread that I just love.
I love the smell of the wheat right after I grind it.
I love kneading it one last time by hand before rolling it and placing it in the pan.
And then that first warm slice....
slathered with butter!

One Year Older. And wiser too?

Today is my birthday. Last year, in a birthday card from my grandparents, they wrote, "May this be the year your hearts' desires are met." And boy were they... And he keeps growing.

Pardon the spit up...It happens.


Now I know how my mom felt 28 years ago on this day. Thank you Mom!
So this year as a blow out the candles I'll have to think of a new wish to replace the one that I've been using for the past couple years. Humm.....

Grant's new cousin

Pretty little Zoe arrived to Keith's sister Jill & her husband Kevin.

She is so tiny and has tons of dark hair. The kicker is that her hair came with beautiful highlights in it. Congratulations!

P.S. I got to feed Zoe a little bottle when I went
to visit her a few days ago.

TWINS

Grant has been able to scoot across a room on his back for a few weeks now. Recently he started rolling all the way over which makes his traveling faster. Today I found him in his room next to his mirrored closet door just staring at himself. So cute! He seems to get the mirror thing.
