Did you go to the William Joseph Concert?

We did.
I meant to put up a post about his concert BEFORE the actual concert telling you all that if you want a great night out with your honey, and you love live music, and you wanted a great show that's close to home, then you should definetly go. But I missed that, so here's the after post.
Two weeks ago we went to his show in Wickenberg. That's an interesting little town. We drove all that way because...
1. He's my friend and we couldn't miss seeing him in Arizona.
2. Even if I didn't know him I'd still think his music is the best.
3. He gave us free tickets since we couldn't make his Mesa Arts Center show. Thanks!
And we missed the concert at the Mesa Arts Center because one of my favorite cousins was getting married that same night across town. The house it was at was beautiful! And she was beautiful! And her sister, who was a bride's maid, was beautiful! Unfortunately I didn't get any good pictures of the bride in her pretty dress because the light was too dim by the time it started, but here's the lovely parents of the bride.
However, we still went to the after party for the concert. It was at de la Cruz Bistro on Main St. I'd never been there before. We just had dessert (mango passionfruit cheesecake). It was so yummy! The food smelled and looked amazing. We plan on going there sometime for a dinner date.
To start the entertainment, none other than Mary Hoffman, my buddy from high school. We used to talk guitars and stuff during chemistry class, but she actually did something with it. It was so good to see her. It was Keith's first time to see her perform and he loved it. Hopefully she'll go out for American Idol this next year. Keep your eyes peeled!
Most of the night was filled with laughs from some of the crew from Jester'z. They were hilarious.
Keith and I had a great night. It was nice to be out on the town again, but it's amazing how it's harder to stay out so late now!
