On our final full day in Colorado, we went up to the nearby mountains and enjoyed a beautiful walk. We saw deer, and wild turkeys, and a pretty horse. The light was beautiful. If only I were a photographer, I could have captured all the beauty so much better.
Grant learned how to blow a dandelion with his dad. He also had a fun time getting attention from his cousin.
Saying goodbye to my grandparents.
This is their beautiful garden on the side of their house. You should have seen the huge zucchini we brought home (I forgot to take a picture).
Our annual family picture with the giant ice cream cone in Raton, NM.

We went to visit my favorite primary teacher in New Mexico. She was also my Young Women's President right before I moved to Arizona. She's seriously one of my favorite people. We got to check out her turtles; the same turtles I would look at back when I was 12. Grant smelled her flowers too. He's really good at that.
And then we finally made it home! Hooray!

I wish I was a photographer too, but I think those pictures turned out beautiful! What a pretty place. I love your annual family photo with the giant ice cream cone.
It looks like you guys had a great time. I heard the wedding reception was wonderful! I'm sure you are enjoying a little more free time now.
