Happy trails to you

The mountains were calling Keith's name.  So we headed east.  I wasn't sure how long I would last on the trail, but I loved it!  What a beautiful day.  Occasionally we could hear the whistle of a train from the nearby ghost town.  Grant would get all excited, we'd listen, and then he'd make his train whistle sound too.  So cute!
Grant loved hiking, but I think he loved collecting a few rocks at the end even more than he enjoyed the hike.  He held them in his hands on the way home until he fell asleep (which didn't take long).  We did a whole trail and made it home just in time to all take a long, much needed, nap.

On the way

Being silly with his glasses

Getting really sleepy half way through

All done and going home

Happy trails to you!

Looks like lots of fun - if it's not too hot I'd love to take my family there in April. You'll have to let me know where you went.

Those snuggly pictures with Mom and Dad are priceless! I'm with Wendy, it looks like a beautiful hike that would be fun to take as a family. Get ready for collected "stuff" Keith was the official "Hector the Collector!"
