Do you have an emergency contact list? I just made mine today. I've been meaning to do this for years, but today was the day that I actually took the time, and it really wasn't hard.
I needed a list that I could keep in a convenient spot. Something for our quick reference, but also important to have for when a babysitter is here. It's just a brief list, but I wouldn't want to have to go find these phone numbers should I need them.
Here's what I put on my list:
Emergency Fire/Police (911- we better know this one already, right?!)
Poison Help Line
Non-Emergency Fire
Non-Emergency Police
Electric Company
Internet Company (not really an emergency thing, but I wanted quick access to it)
Grant's Doctor
Our Doctor
My OBGYN
Keith's Cell Phone
My Cell Phone
Our parents Cell Phones
Our Bishop
Our Address
Our Health Insurance info
I feel much better having this done and put up in one of my cabinets. I'm sure our list will change as the years go by. Someday we'll be adding our kids school phone numbers and who knows what else!
