January things

Early in January, Keith and I got to go on a hike without the kids.
There was still snow in the shady areas on the Superstitions from a couple days before.
And I don't want to forget about how I got a jumping cactus stuck through my shoe and into the side of my foot, just after we had finished talking about them!  Those things are crazy!  Keith rescued me and knocked it off with his car keys.
We went to the other side of town for the baby blessing of my cousins sweet new baby girl.
She made her this beautiful dress!  This is the same cousin that made Camille's cute raccoon for her birthday.
My dad kept the boys entertained with this huge rock outside the church building.  They pretended they were riding on a horse.
We drove by the Phoenix Temple while we were out that way.  I hadn't seen it yet and it was so pretty!
The tops of some of our trees froze so Keith gave them a trim.
 Busy, busy girl!
I made this wild blackberry pie.  Oh, it was so good!  I started using this crust recipe and I can't get enough of it!  Plus it's always fun to do a lattice top!
 Here' some more food.  :)
I made this Baked Potato Soup for the second time.  It's amazing!  Totally restaurant worthy.  We had some friends over and everyone loved it.
Brett wanted to sit in the high chair.  It's so hilarious how big he is in that thing now.
We enjoyed some sunshine in the backyard.

 I was there too!
My boys love taking pictures with my camera.  And I love handing it over to them and then seeing what they captured.
Brett LOVES olives.  He has some almost every day with his lunch.
I got new hair!  Ha!  Just kidding.
I was going through some stuff and found this wig that I'd bought for Halloween, but never got to wear it.  So I put it on and gave everyone a good laugh.  We put it on the kids too and it was so funny.  Especially funny on Camille, but I don't have that picture.  I'll have to get it from Keith.
Our days are full of soccer practice, piano, homework, naps, trying out the recipes that I've saved on Pinterest, keeping up with Camille, working on projects around the house (I have several going on right now), playing outside, working hard, reading books, lots of dishes and laundry, and cleaning up the floor after Camille eats.  We're staying busy and having lots of fun.
