I finally made it back to update this blog and found a few unfinished posts from the past few months.
After looking at these pictures I realize how much the past few months since Tyler was born (even before then) have been a blur. I don't remember a lot and I'm so glad to have these pictures, but I wish I'd written about them at the time so I could remember more of the story. Here we go....
My parents were out of town for Grant's birthday, so they stopped by to bring him his very own apron that my mom made especially for him. He loves it!
Grandma & Grandpa Jackson have this cool three-wheeler bike that our kids got to ride home one day. Camille had fun sitting on it.
We checked out a science book from the library (or happen to have one?), but either way our boys did one of the experiments and ended up with this cool green stuff.
Grant made a Leprechaun trap for school. I love the little signs he made on the outside to lure the Leprechaun inside.
Surprisingly, he didn't catch anything. Or anyone. Even with all those Lucky Charms in there! :)
Our boys managed to break our bathroom window one Sunday afternoon. This was a week before Tyler was born. They were having fun throwing rocks outside and I guess it got out of control. Oops!
Brett's preschool teacher gave them each two caterpillars. They finally turned into butterflies and we were able to let them go. If I had known when I got them that they aren't supposed to be moved or they could die, I wouldn't have put them on my kitchen counter. They grossed me out so bad! But it was fun to watch them do their thing.
We knew Tyler would be coming so we had our Easter breakfast and celebration with our little family a couple days before Easter.
Heading out to collect eggs. I was smart this year and designated a color for each person. So then they were to search for only their color of egg. It sure worked good for us at this stage.
Camille did surprisingly well.

We went swimming.
(I don't know why I can't get those pictures above all centered, but I don't dare try to fix it or I might ruin this whole post. If you're like me and like to have everything lined up nice, I'm sorry! ;))
I love her nose smooshed up against the chair!
They have such a good daddy!
Brett made a dinosaur and a volcano at school.
We set the self timer so we could document our thrilling game of Scrabble!!! Ha! Don't we look excited?! We really do love to play that game. It can get pretty competitive sometimes.
It's funny to see my big baby tummy. And I'm wearing Keith's shirt. I remember feeling so uncomfortable sitting there!
Our neighbors had their beautiful palm trees removed one day.
It was sad, but necessary as the roots were destroying the walls nearby.
All gone!
This boy was so excited to get that school bus (that he's holding up above). We gave it to him after Tyler was born. He'd been asking for it for a loooooong time. Every time we'd go to Target I'd have to remind him that we don't get toys just because and that he'd have to wait for a special day to get it. Well since I forgot to put it in his Easter basket, having a new brother being born seemed like a special enough day to get it. :)
Our kids were sick with pretty bad coughs when Tyler was born so they didn't get to hold him right away. As you can tell Brett was beyond thrilled when his turn came!
Such a proud big brother!
