September 2017

Labor Day fun.

Just after we went to the pool for the morning, we went to grab some lunch to bring home and our van died!  My parents were so nice to come rescue us and lend us their Suburban for a couple days.
We ended the day with BBQ'd hotdogs, without the BBQ.  The propane was out and I didn't have the energy by that point to switch it out!

Soccer started for Brett and his friend.

My sisters came down for a visit.  Here's Tyler bonding with Auntie Ann.

Had a yummy dinner with my parents, grandparents, and sisters.

The boys entertained my Grandpa with their micro machines. :)

Brett fell asleep like this while I played the piano.

Gifts from Auntie Ann.

Keith was gone for two l o n g weeks for work.
(Including when our van died, our A/C on our house died, I got a nail in the tire, the list goes on.... :/ )
First he went to Australia.  His parents went with him to this first stop.  Then they split off and went to New Zealand while he continued on his trip for work.

And Jerusalem.

He got up early one morning and made his way to the Sea of Galilee.

Then he went to England, where he stayed here.

And then Dublin, where he got to stay in this gorgeous castle!

I can't get over the beauty of this lobby!

He worked his tail off, but also found room to squish in plenty of fun things, like golf. :)

Once Keith got home, Camille and I got to have a much needed day date.  We went shoe shopping and then had Gelato for lunch.  Yum!

This boy is growing and playing so much!

I was searching the house for somebody's shoe when I found this on the floor.  I took it as a sign and indeed I did find that shoe the next day!  Ha!

 He loves his oatmeal!

And he loves sitting on the table!

Brett organized his cars by color.

Each day that Keith was gone, a small gift for the kids showed up at our front door (due to some good planning by Keith's mom and our kind neighbor).  This day was this growing lizard.

I wish I could remember which movie they were watching.  They were completely mesmerized!

Breakfast with some boats from the "mystery gifter."

On her way to school.

Baby trapped.  :)

Tyler loves to play with his toys at the table.

 Daddy's home!

This is how I get ready for family pictures.  Looks like we're just about ready to go!
Thanks to my friend, Shari (who's been taking our pictures for years) our pictures turned out great!.  We're excited to order a big print to put above the fireplace.

Hello Daddy!

If only she would do this every day!

More sitting on the table to eat.

This watermelon weighed 27 pounds!

Brett had his Teddy Bear Parade at school.  It's such a cute thing to watch!

Snuggles with Grandpa Jackson.

Playing.

We built this little house out of Jenga blocks.

I should really do something about this kid being on the table.  But really, he loves it and he just sits there so well!

I had to run in front of Brett really fast and get this picture before he was done counting.  He was totally peeking at hide and seek.  Ha!

Fall finally showed up here, at least at Sprout's.  These beauties gave me a smile.

Playing with blocks.

I deemed this day a lazy day and snuggled with these kids on the couch for most of it.  We all needed a low key day!

Nothing like bone jammies and block towers!

Baseball games have started.  Keith and his dad are coaching Grant's team.  They've had a fun season so far.

I love this cute picture Brett created the other afternoon.  Pomtmtez (Palm Trees). ;)

Camille made such a nice shadow on her way to school.  :)

  Dance is going well.

Tyler is doing well in nursery.  Totally due to the fact that Grandma is the nursery leader!

Me: "I am going to go lay down for a few minutes."
Camille: "You can lay down on my bed, it's okay."
So I did.  And I got the royal treatment!  ;)

Brett and I went to Target.  We had fun.  :)

Brett missed his chance to get a candy from our Bishop after church last Sunday.  He was so bummed.  And it's hard to get this kid out of a funky mood like that, so I suggested we walk home together instead of riding in the car with everyone else.  He wanted to go through these "secret steps."  So we did.  Then he was a happy boy.  :)

I had to get a quick pic with my girl after church by these beautiful mums from Costco!  We got two last Saturday.  And then I ran one over with the van.  Oops!  We were able to replant it in this pot.  I think I might need to go get more.  They are amazing!  And Camille is so cute!

He totally stacked these up himself.  What a goof-ball!

He-he!

Hooray for cooler mornings and evenings!!!!!  We stopped by the swings today after our morning jog.  I kept chomping on Tylers' feet with my hands, like a crocodile, so he pulled those cute little feet up to try to stop me.

We'll end September with a hot date tonight, and a soccer game and General Conference tomorrow.
It has been quite the September!!!!!
