At the park

Grant and I decided to walk to the park this morning. We quickly noticed that it was a little too warm to be out, but oh well...we needed to get out of the house. So we sat in the shade under the playground and scooped sand.
Then Zoe came! And they had to run around in the sun! Grant was determined to catch up to the birds and grab them or something, but they kept flying away. He also tried to hold Zoe's hand a few times. At least that's what it looked like he was trying to do. Then we left before it got way too hot. Grant had sand stuck all over his arms and in his hair where he'd had sun screen on. We will try going an hour or two earlier next time. The sad thing is that it was only 8:15 in the morning!

My boys

What a busy, busy boy I have. Both of them! Keith is finishing his 2 classes this week. His last final is tonight! Hooray! And then he has a 2 week break from school! Double hooray!
My other busy boy has just reached a new plateau in life. He's like a full fledged toddler now and not a baby (well at least in my eyes). Just 3 more months and he'll be going to nursery at church! HOORAY!

And...Auntie Ann is coming in 2 weeks!

2 peas in a pod

These two cousins just love to play together.
When they go to each other's house to get babysat, they stick by each other's side the whole time. Grant was so excited to have Zoe come over the other night. He was playing like a maniac & took a while to calm down to go to bed.
When they are at Grandma & Grandpa's house they get jealous if Grandma or Grandpa is holding the other baby.
I'm glad Grant has a cousin close in age to run around with.

Another Dip Recipe

(I just love these PJ's on him!)
Party Cheese Dip

2 lb box of Velveeta
small can olives, sliced
2 small cans diced green chili
1 lb hamburger, browned & drained
2 tomatoes, diced

Cook Hamburger. Mix with remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Microwave until cheese is melted, stirring occasionally. Keep in crock pot on low heat. Eat with tortilla chips.

I made this dip on Saturday for a baby shower. Everyone loved it and wanted the recipe, so I thought I'd share it here as well. It really is yummy. My mom has had this recipe as long as I can remember. I even had it at my 16th birthday party!

Picture from one of today's great events

Grant got this little golf set for Easter. He likes to go around the family room hitting the balls with the clubs, but he absolutely LOVES pushing the golf bag around the house at full speed. You can just see the satisfaction on his face.
Notice how the wheels aren't even on the ground. I've tried to flip it over for him and show him how it can roll, but he keeps flipping it back over as soon as I'm done.

Hope you had a Happy Easter too!
