Cardboard Boat Races

Have you ever been to the cardboard boat races at Tempe Town Lake?

We went 2 weekends ago.
I would love to make a boat for next years race.This boat is in a category that allows for mechanical things to make it move instead of paddling.

I thought this boat was cute. I like the bumper sticker.

It belonged to a group of girls that all wore poodle skirts for the race.

Here's another mechanical boat. It's name is Mobey Brick. It's head, arms, and legs move. There's a guy inside peddling to make it go.

"Gee whiz Grandma, it sure got hot out today!"

Here's the most recent addition to Grant's room. Keith's sister Kristy helped me get this cut out on her cool Cricut machine and then my sister Amber helped me put it up on the wall when she was here for spring break.Here's the little man at the beach for the first time. Really it's a swimming pool that happens to have a beach. We had fun building sandcastles and eating lunch.
