Sleeping at the cabin

Over Father's Day weekend, we took my parents and my bro's family up to Keith's parent's cabin.  Grant was so excited to sleep outside in a tent with two of his cousins.  He fell asleep before his cousins joined him, but a little while later he was awake again and they were all laughing and having fun.

Feeding Brett

Brett loves eating solid foods.  I think he'd eat a steak if we gave it to him!  His two bottom front teeth came in last week, so more variety to his dinner plate is on its way.

What the boys have been up to

Brett is learning to make silly faces
One of the best things I've done recently was take the legs off of this activity table so busy Brett can play with it.

Grant frequently tells me with a heavy sigh, "I'm work'n hard!"

Driving "Bertie" the bus around his bro's crib

Busy Brett roaming the halls.
He gets up in crawling position often, but then plops down and army crawls really fast.

31

Thank you to all who helped make my birthday special!  Keith and I enjoyed a little bit of time at his parent's cabin.  We intended to stay for two nights but our van decided to go crazy so we spent the first night at our house and then took a rental car up to the cabin the next day.  Keith's parents watched our boys so we could have some relaxing time.  We watched the whole first season of Chuck on DVD.  It was so funny!  Then my parents watched Grant & Brett while we went out to dinner at LGO with my bro and his pretty wife.  Yummy pizza, yummy gelato.  It was a great birthday.

Tonight's Salad

I made tonight's salad like one that I had at the Cheesecake Factory a few weeks ago.  It was yummy.  I think my favorite part is the fresh corn.  I love the sweetness it adds.  What's your favorite thing to put on a salad?
