Summer Getaway...Bryce Canyon

We spent a morning hiking in Bryce Canyon.  It was hot!  We did sleep in a little, so that didn't help. But it was so nice to get that extra sleep!
We chose the sunset trail, knowing that part of it is shaded and cool because of the steep sheer cliffs that you hike down into.
It was nice and cool down there!  And very hot as soon as we got into the sun.

Taking a break at the bottom.
We decided to turn around here and head back up the way we came since the kids little legs were getting pretty tired.
Brett found a couple spots on the way up where he actually wanted me to take his picture.  He even smiled that handsome little smile of his!

Starting back up the endless switchbacks.

We drove through the park and saw some other beautiful sights from some look outs.  Like this cool arch.
Grant was being silly in the back seat.  He said, "Look, I grew!"

We stopped for ice-cream on our way out of the park.

Camille especially loved this little jail.

And then we head for Arizona and the last leg of our trip.
